Music brings us pleasure and releases our suffering. It can calm us down and pump us up. It helps us manage pain, sleep better and be more productive.

According to studies, music can make you more productive when working. What type of music boosts productivity the most?
…
Listening to music produces dopamine, nature’s happy pill, in the brain. Task quality is likely to be higher when listening to songs that are moderate in tempo and dynamic variation.
Songs with low complexity could help someone better perform complex and creative tasks while songs with a fast tempo and high variation help with tasks that emphasize quantity and speed. It also helps with tasks that are simple or routine.
As long as the music you’re listening to doesn’t distract you, it should help you be more productive.
