Meet an Intern: Dev

“Playing the piano can be enjoyable when students have the opportunity to practice and learn in the right environment.”

Dev is a senior at Cupertino High School. He’s recently completed the MTAC Certificate of Merit (CM) at level 10 and studies piano with Julian Toha.

1.What do you do at Oclef?

At Oclef, I work with the other interns to organize pieces in our databases based on the level and the techniques in it. I also help out in the classes by giving students guidance on how to enhance their practice skills.

2. What have you learned from working at Oclef?

Working at Oclef has taught me that learning and playing the piano can be enjoyable when students have the opportunity to practice and learn in the right environment. Furthermore, Oclef has taught me and the students how to solve problems on our own by being methodical, planning everything out, and then taking action on the problem.

You will find Dev at Oclef on Fridays this summer. Take a moment to introduce yourself and see his thoughts on working with your child or on his work designing skills for Stage 1 students in Oclef Pro software.

With Care,

The Oclef Team
